Covid-19 Update

A Letter to our Customers

Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. During this time, I wanted to reach out and update you on the effects on Tennessee Barn Doors.

First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who’s been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery.

Our Business

1) We are very lucky that none of our employees have contracted the Virus at this time.  We encourage them to continue following all the recommended safe practices including social distancing.
2)  We are generally open for business.  We love having visitors to our shop but would ask that you delay any visits at this time.  Once guidelines change we will update our policy
3) We are happy to do site measurements provided you are comfortable with this visit wherein we still will maintain safe practices.  If you or anyone in your household is in the susceptible group we would recommend delaying the visit to be safe.
4) Much of our business can be managed through phone calls, emails, and pictures.  Our payment system is all online and secure.  Please don’t let the current situation deter you from reaching out to us.  We would Love to hear from you.

Current Orders/Production
At this time we do not expect any major delays in orders.  We are trying to manage our labor/payroll given the likelihood we may see a bit of a slow down in future orders/revenue.   If this occurs and affects our lead times we will try and provide as much notice as possible.

Installations will continue based on our client’s decisions but want to re-iterate, if you or anyone in your household is in the susceptible group we would recommend delaying the visit to be safe.

Shop Local
America survives and we will get through this.  As a small business, we know this pandemic is going to have some very negative economic repercussions. We love serving our local clients (and national sales) and want to thank all of you for helping in our success.
When this situation rights itself PLEASE flood the restaurants etc and help out those who are hurting terribly from the economic impact.
