CORNER DOORS

Rolling doors are a popular solution for a wide range of applications, including commercial and industrial spaces, as well as homes and apartments. These doors offer a range of benefits, including space-saving design and easy operation. One type of rolling door that is particularly useful in certain situations is the rolling door that comes together on a wall corner.

This type of door is designed to meet at a 90-degree angle, closes between two walls. These doors are great where space is at a premium, as they allow for the creation of a fully enclosed area that can be used for offices, storage, or other purposes.

One of the key advantages of rolling doors that come together on a wall corner is their space-saving design. When designing a new home or doing a remodel give some thought to corner doors.

The images attached are just one example of a style.  Essentially any style door can be incorporated into a corner door.  There is just some preplanning of wall construction that needs to be considered.  It is not challenging to frame appropriately. The one key is having a header that is at least 10” that meets at the corner where the doors close. Often framers just build the walls and miss putting in the header. At Tennessee Barn Doors we can help with early design, framing ideas, and sizing.  This is just one of the services that we provide.  Having installed thousands of doors we have a good understanding of framing needs and will share this knowledge to ensure a great finished end result.

The hardware (wheels etc) is our standard hardware.  The only addition to make these doors work is a corner bracket that connects the two rails together. Floor guides, wheels, rails, and handles are all standard.

Rolling doors that come together on a wall corner are also very versatile in terms of their appearance. These doors can be customized to meet a wide range of design specifications, including the choice of materials, colors, and finishes. This makes them ideal for use in a variety of settings, including both commercial and residential spaces.

In summary, rolling doors that come together on a wall corner offer a range of benefits, including space-saving design, ease of operation, and versatility in appearance. They are ideal for use in a wide range of settings, including commercial and industrial spaces, as well as homes and apartments. Whether you need to create a commercial area or a space-saving office/storage area in your home, rolling doors that come together on a wall corner can provide the solution you need.
